I receive an error or other issue upon logging in with the Facebook button

Always ensure that a redirect from the non-www version of your url to the www version (or vice versa depending on your preference).  This is required for Facebook and a good recommendation for Search engine optimization in general.  Please see this post for more information on how to do this

After logging in, my site appears in the little login window

There are 2 primary causes for this.  The first is caused by an incorrect redirect (please see above).  The 2nd is an error with the setup of your Facebook application.  There are some settings within the Facebook application that are meant for desktop applications and not websites.  We recommend you revisit the installation guide for JFBConnect and set up the most basic of applications as explained there.  Try using the new API/Secret keys and test to see if the issue is resolved.  From there, you can use the new application or update the old one to match the settings of the new one.

A long post about different issues related to this and different solutions can be found here in the forums.

When logging in with Community Builder after registering with JFBConnect, I see:

This user has not yet confirmed his email address and account!
This user has not yet been approved by a moderator!

This is usually caused when you have a required field in your Community Builder Profile which you have not mapped to a Facebook field.  Since JFBConnect retrieves profile fields from Facebook, if there is no mapping for a required field, Community Builder does not save the profile as it considers the profile invalid.  For now, if you're using JFBConnect, you cannot have required fields in Community Builder that do not map to a Facebook profile field.
